Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) www.imba.aueb.gr
AUEB is the leading University in Greece in the areas of economics and business administration. Founded in 1920, the University has created a grand tradition with thousands of graduates who hold senior positions in the public and private sectors, Greek and foreign universities, as well as in international organizations. The MBA International Program at AUEB is fully accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
In the wake of this proud tradition, the MBA International program, now in its 16th year of operation, is building on universal values such as excellence, accuracy, relevance and depth of knowledge, sustained by international faculty that combines excellence in teaching with breakthrough research and exceptional professional experience.
Strategically positioned at the crossroads of three continents, the program attracts students from more than 20 countries, thus embracing diversity and creating a unique multicultural environment that helps students build a global outlook and network.
Particular emphasis is placed on developing students’ full potential, with a rich curriculum addressing key themes such as innovation and entrepreneurship, change management, human capital and knowledge management. The unique learning model aspires to foster a new leadership style that combines analytical thinking and technological awareness, with personal skills, entrepreneurial spirit and social responsibility. The program is geared towards developing managers with practical, real-world skills, relevant to today’s fast-moving and challenging business environment.
A much sought-after component of the program is the Immersion Project, which may involve a field study consulting project, international internship, business plan, or other relevant team or individual project, and offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a business environment. The Field Study Program is considered as the capstone requirements of the program; at a time where business functions, operational practices and technology are experiencing constant change, the coupling of academic knowledge, practical expertise and solid methodologies to tackle real business problems becomes an undeniable necessity. Since 1999 more than 200 companies have benefited from this university-industry collaboration program.
In further recognition of the vital link between MBA and industry, the program’s Career Office offers total solutions packages in preparation for real-world business opportunities. Thus, it is not surprising that 97% of the Program’s graduates get job offers within 6 months of graduation.
Fostering innovation in the curriculum and the modes of delivery, the Program enjoys international recognition, and participates in international rankings with excellent results. In November 2013, the Program earned the coveted Association of MBAs (AMBA) Innovation Award 2013 among strong competition from AMBA accredited MBA programs from all over the world. It is important to note that AMBA accredits just 1% of the world’s executive MBA Programs and currently numbers more than 700 accredited programs in more than 200 business schools in 70 countries.

The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Business School www.uts.edu.au
UTS Business School, part of the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), delivers a broad range of degree programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and through its executive development programs. It is also recognised internationally for its innovative research.
UTS Business School consists of five academic disciplines: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management and Marketing.
Its practical and integrative approach to business education prepares students for a world that demands more than specialist expertise in a particular discipline. Its graduates are ‘integrative thinkers’ who can combine traditional business skills with those from disciplines such as design and engineering to meet the challenges they face in a globalised world.
Its researchers take a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach – bringing together skills and knowledge from diverse fields – to tackle the critical problems faced by businesses and other public and private organisations today.
This contemporary and collaborative approach to education and research has been embodied in its new home, the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building, designed by internationally renowned architect Frank Gehry. The Dr Chau Chak Wing Building is the first building in Australia designed by Gehry.
The building is a key element of the $1 billion redevelopment of UTS’s City Campus. UTS is located at the southern end of the Sydney central business district, where it anchors the Sydney’s new digital creative hub, known as Intersection.
UTS Business School, which is AACSB accredited, recently became the first business school in Australia to be awarded a five-star rating in the QS Stars Business Schools ratings.
